Our Story

Good Mood Ranch was born from a

lifelong connection to farm life.

Founder Goemaere grew up surrounded by animals—cows, pigs,

chickens—and the rhythms of the land. Creating the ranch wasn’t just an idea;

it was a natural extension of that upbringing and a way to share that experience with others. Today,

Good Mood Ranch is a place where animals, nature, and hands-on experiences come together.

Home to more than 400 animals across dozens of species, the ranch offers guests a chance to

connect with everything from rabbits, pigs, cows, and goats to donkeys, golden pheasants,

Japanese roosters, Indonesian black chickens, Brazilian chickens, and even rheas.

One of the most unique features is our expansive guinea pig city—complete with around many

tiny houses and buildings where these curious little animals can roam and explore.

And then there’s Sonic, our friendly alpaca who has become a guest favorite

for his affectionate personality—and his famous kisses.

At Good Mood Ranch, we believe the best experiences are the ones you can feel.

Guests can purchase lettuce, carrots, and feed pellets to interact with the animals up close,

creating moments that are both fun and memorable for all ages. But beyond the fun, the ranch is also a place to learn.

We are passionate about helping children and families understandwhat agriculture is and why it matters.

By interacting with animals, seeing how they are cared for, and experiencing farm life firsthand,

guests gain a deeper appreciation for where food comes

from and the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives.

Guests can take a ride on our train as it tours around the lake,

home to ducks and peaceful views, or simply enjoy the space at your own pace.

We also welcome the community in meaningful ways—

offering event rentals for families and organizations, as well

as educational field trips for schools and homeschooling groups,

where learning comes to life outside the classroom.

In the back of the ranch, our beehives—managed by Sweetbee Maxwell Goodacre—produce local honey available for purchase.

The ranch is also proud to host monthly meetings for the Collier County Beekeepers Association, continuing our commitment to education, sustainability, and the future of agriculture. Good Mood Ranch isn’t just a place to visit—it’s a place to connect, learn, and leave a little happier—and a little more inspired—than when you arrived.
